Our Conservation Mission

Sea otters are more than Soundotter’s namesake—they’re vital to coastal ecosystems. As keystone species, they protect kelp forests by controlling sea urchin populations, supporting biodiversity and sequestering carbon. Yet, with only about 125,000 left globally, they face threats from pollution, habitat loss, and climate change.

At Soundotter, we believe the creativity that drives music can inspire action for the natural world. By raising awareness about sea otters, we empower our community of artists and producers to advocate for clean oceans and healthy habitats. Join us to protect these playful creatures and the planet that inspires us all.
